As the founder of CMFT, Dana opened up a solo-practice in 2005. Dana since expanded the practice and, as the Clinical Director and Supervisor, now enjoys leading a team of Licensed, Limited-Permit/Associate, and Intern therapists.
Ms. Galante is a New York State licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Ms. Galante earned a Bachelors degree in Child Development/Family Relations and Psychology and a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from East Carolina University. Dana received further post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Imago Relationship Therapy, and Gottman Method.
Dana uses an integrated holistic approach in therapy including: Family Systems Theory, Bio-Psychosocial Model, Collaborative Language, Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness. www.collaborativemft.com
