The Office of Customer Service works under the city of San Antonio and is charged with making services convenient and accessible. It operates a customer call center that connects citizens with specially-trained customer service representatives who provide help with potholes, stray animals, downed street signs, trash collection or other city requests. The office also maintains various community link service centers where residents can pay traffic tickets and buy pet licenses. The Office of Customer Service has a speakers' bureau that supports programs and offers services related to economic development, neighborhood and physical enhancement, human development and community services and organizational support. It organizes a variety of customer service training programs and events.
