Children's Dance Center was established for the purpose of teaching the young child the joy of movement and dance in a fun, non-competitive and nurturing environment. We are specialized in that we only teach children ages 3 through 14. Our center, located in Virginia Beach has two spacious studios, each with a one-way viewing window allowing parents to observe class. Our highly skilled instructors have degrees in dance and dance education and some are also education specialists, certified by the Virginia Department of Education. Others are certified in specialized areas of dance. We are committed to providing the best dance education available by emphasizing technical excellence, positive self esteem, and a love of dance. We do have a recital each year in order to give our dancers the opportunity to perform on stage for family and friends. Our recitals are always held in mid-May at a local high school and are divided into two shows early afternoon and late afternoon.
