Charles Hubbard, DPM, is board-certified in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and provides surgical and non-surgical treatments of the foot and ankle disorders to the men and women in and around Austin, Texas, at Orthopedic Associates of Central Texas. He offers specialized services at the center’s Austin office, including arthroscopic surgery as well as complex reconstruction of the foot and ankle. He has a particular interest in sports medicine and trauma.

Orthopedic Associates of Central Texas also has offices in Round Rock, Cedar Park, La Grange, and Lockhart, Texas.

As a leading surgeon and national lecturer, Dr. Hubbard leverages his education, formal training, and other experience in practicing everything from sports medicine to trauma care.

He received a bachelor’s degree from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, before earning his doctorate of podiatric medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Hubbard completed a three-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery under the direction of Steven M. Spinner, DPM, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

After his residency, this West Texas native felt compelled to return to his birth state and soon founded the Center for Foot and Ankle Surgery in Austin. With a certificate from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Hubbard brings a wealth of experience in the field and a passion for returning all of his patients to their highest level of function as quickly as possible.

His special interest in sports medicine stems from his love of the outdoors and athletics, including a wide range of recreational activities but especially running.
