Founded in 1965, Cavco Industries is a producer of manufactured, park model and cabin vacation homes in the United States. Its homes cover an area of more than 3,300 square feet and each home includes over two bedrooms, a living room, dining room and kitchen. The company s park model homes and campground cabins are nearly 400 square feet in size, and are purchased primarily as second homes and for retirement living. Its vacation homes are generally placed in planned communities and recreational and resort properties. Cavco Industries also produces commercial structures, including portable offices and showrooms. The company supplies multiple brands from its manufacturing facilities to independent retailers and company-owned retail centers located in the United States, Canada and Japan. Cavco Industries employs more than 1,000 people and operates over three manufacturing plants in Phoenix and Seguin, Texas.
