Builder Direct, is a registered City of Detroit based Minority and Disadvantage ownedbusiness, and was incorporated in the State of Michigan in 1993. It started as a construction company engaged in housing rehabilitation and grew to become one of the largest construction materials wholesale suppliers in the City of Detroit. 

Builder Direct is strategically located in the City of Detroit, servicing the entire State of Michigan. The company supplies many brands of floorings, plumbing fixtures, kitchen and bath cabinets, appliances, lumber, hvac and lighting fixtures. In 2009, Builder Direct expanded to open its second office in the City of Durham, NC where we are certified HUB and MBE. We thereafter expanded to Virginia where we are certified SWAM, and will open our Texas branch in the fall 2012. We seek continued growth in our customer base and partnerships throughout other states and regions.
