About Bob-Leon Plastics Bob-Leon Plastics, Inc was founded in 1954 by Bob and Ruth Cronin, originally as a cabinet shop called Sacramento Cabinet Supply. We began building cabinets for customers in California, Nevada, and Oregon. In 1958, we became an Associate Distributor of Wilsonart laminates. As business grew, Bob and Ruth added Leon Eggleston as a partner Bob-Leon Plastics, Inc was officially born in 1963. Customer demand led us to focus on laminates and countertops. We eventually discontinued the cabinet-making side of the business. We became certified in Corian in 1975 and this has allowed us to completely service the countertop needs of our customers. We are currently certified to manufacture and install all the top brands of solid surface products. We also fabricate all our countertops at our plant utilizing state of the art machinery. Our experienced personnel include founding owner Ruth, who is still in charge of Accounts Payable, and her daughters Patti and Diane who run the day to day operations. In addition, we have a seasoned and superior staff of professionals who help to make each job successful from beginning to end. Currently, a quarter of our staff has been with us for 25 years or longer. We are very proud that we can provide continuity and expertise that only a tenured staff such as ours can offer our clients. Our superior knowledge as a solid surface countertop manufacturer has allowed us to become a leader in our industry. We are sought out by professionals, contractors, and residential customers to fulfill their needs. Whether it is new countertops in a home, or manufacturing an architect's innovative design for a hospital reception area, customers look to us to create that special look. Our variety of work can be seen in the finest homes in Sacramento, the casinos at the Lake, Stanford University and other institutes of learning. In addition, we have installed countertops for retail outlets, Bank of America's, Kaiser, Mercy, and Methodists Hospitals of California, Sears customers throughout Northern California as well as the Sacramento Housing Agency properties.
