Bibles for the World, based in Colorado Springs, Colo., provides a wide range of services to the Hmar tribe of Northeast India. The organization s Bibles for the World Sponsorship program has sponsored more than 2,000 school children. It has also funded the construction of a hospital and a seminary in Northeast India. Its sponsors have assisted in planting many Indian churches through partnerships with Indian national missionaries. Individuals are sent on short-term mission trips, where they join teaching and ministry teams. The trip also includes a wide range of destinations in India, including schools in New Delhi, the Taj Mahal, Jaipur, Mother Teresa s home for the destitute in Calcutta and Seilmat in Manipur.
