Art and Music Classes in Charlotte, ages 3 to adult.  Drawing, painting, singing, voice and performance instruction as well as group art classes and choral ensemble.  Instruction is age and skill appropriate for beginner to advanced student.  Tina Steele Penn is an accomplished Visual Artist and Musician in the Charlotte area.  Teaching Introductory group classes or private lessons.  Tina has lifelong learning in Voice, and Visual mediums, and can teach you or your child how to express themselves in richness and clarity, whether in music or visual art. In Visual Art Tina works in Graphite, Watercolor, Oil, and Acrylic paint, and has learned how to communicate the skills needed for Artistic expression.  "It isn't about talent, it is about skill set, and vision!"  Learn the basics of color mixing to avoid "muddy" colors, brush techniques to create beautiful rendering, and how to "see" what you want to draw and paint for successful rendering. In music Tina teaches in a wide range of genres. Classical, Theatre, Country, Pop, Bluegrass, Folk. She teaches improvement in overall vocal sound, range extension, bridging registers, pitch, projection, and stage presence and performance. Classes are available for private or group instruction.  Not everyone wants to learn in a group, and not everyone is comfortable learning without a group.
