Aquanor Marketing is an importer and marketer of seafood products, with its facilities in Boston. Established in 1985, it started business as a major importer of farm-raised Atlantic salmon from Norway. It contracts with selected independent salmon farmers in North America, South America and Europe to pack its brand of Atlantic salmon and Atlantic salmon fillets. In the early 1990s, the company introduced Arctic Charr, farm-raised in Iceland to the American market. Its brand of processed shrimp from Norway has always been a popular variety in the market. Aquanor Marketing contracts with producers of seafood from Norway and Iceland to bring these products to the American market.
