Andrew Mastro, born and raised in Chicago, received his Bachelor of Science at Indiana University, Bloomington, graduating with honors. He completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Rush University College of Health Sciences, encompassing focused dermatology, general medical and surgical specialties. This dedicated training solidified Andrew’s passion for dermatology across all platforms. Andrew has training in medical dermatology for all age ranges, cosmetic dermatology, including toxins, lasers and glycolic peels; minor excisions, shave, punch and excisional biopsies; and providing pre-procedural and post-procedural patient education. He values the patient-provider relationship, is eager to build a lasting partnership and aims to make patients feel and look their absolute best!

During his time at Rush University, Andrew was exceptionally active in the greater Chicago community, establishing multiple community service initiatives. These programs included musical therapy for acute brain injury/Alzheimer’s patients as well as a healthy lifestyle/basketball campaign partnering with the Jr NBA and NBA Getfit program. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, AndDuring his time at Rush University, Andrew was exceptionally active in the greater Chicago community, establishing multiple community service initiatives. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Andrew worked in the Emergency Department for two years, establishing a strong foundation in ACLS/BCLS. His duties centered on direct patient care, including CPR, airway management, wound care, and splinting. During this time, Andrew received his EMT-B certification earning highest honors throughout his program.
