Founded over 60 years ago, AHRC New York City is an organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Its membership comprises individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, friends and professionals. Based in Bronx, N.Y., it currently serves such individuals, offering an array of services pertaining to their employment, career and business. These individuals are provided with various programs, which include paid and unpaid internship programs, occupational training programs in specialized fields and school to work programs.
