Dr. Tim Adams is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist offering preventive and restorative care to children and developmentally disabled patients. Dr. Tim’s office philosophy is simple: a child's dental visit should be a secure, educational, and fun experience! Since we treat children exclusively, our office is specially designed for their needs, and the staff is selected and trained to work with children. Our primary interest is to ensure the comfort and safety of your child. We are committed to preventive care and provide treatment with lasting results.  We welcome parents to the treatment area. We emphasize preventive care in our office. Professional cleanings and fluoride treatments usually commence at age 2 to 3 years and continue at six month intervals. A floss holder is provided, and you will be shown how to floss your child's teeth. Fissure sealants (durable coatings placed on the decay-prone areas of a child's molars) are very effective in the prevention of tooth decay. X-rays are taken only when there is a clear need, and the most up-to-date equipment and techniques are used to minimize exposure. Parents are welcome stay with the child during the appointment.
Dr. Adams, under specific circumstances, treats children and handicapped adults in the hospital. He has privileges at Children's and Porter Hospital.
