Accompsett Middle School is a part of the Smithtown Central School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Founded in 1971, Accompsett Middle School s staff includes teachers, teaching assistants, specialists, counselors, social workers, computer technicians and special education coordinators. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, English, science and social studies. The school also offers a range of extracurricular programs in art, band, music, technology applications, health and physical education, and family and consumer science.
